Hi friends,
It’s been a little while since my last post here, and I wanted to take a moment to share why I stepped away — and why I’m so glad to be back.
Life has a way of reminding us to slow down. For me, the past year has been a time to pause, reflect, and recharge. Between the busyness of everyday life and the energy required to share this urban homesteading journey online, I realized I needed a break to breathe, find my new path, and reconnect with the “why” behind all of this.
Starting from scratch. I gave everything up. My garden, the quail, cavy, rabbits, and my sanity felt threatened. While it wasn't the desired choice, it was a necessary one. Sometimes letting go of the past and grasping onto what is the new future is a hard but eye-opening experience.
That space gave me fresh inspiration and a renewed sense of excitement for what’s ahead.
Now that I’m back, I’m excited to bring you along for:
New projects I’ve been working on
Lessons I’ve learned during the break
Fresh ideas for making city living more sustainable and fulfilling
Thank you so much for your patience, support, and encouragement. It truly means the world. I can’t wait to share what’s next with you — and I hope you’ll join me as this next chapter unfolds.
Here’s to growth, both in the garden and in life.
— Morgan
